Netflix is going forward with a documentary on Dana White, and the early billing suggests the UFC CEO’s story is getting the full treatment.
“Netflix will move ahead with ‘tell-all’ Dana White documentary early next year,” Bloody Elbow wrote on X on Wednesday, Nov. 4.
Since the post went up in November 2026, early next year means early 2027. That lines up with the rest of the coverage this week. Boxingnews.com ran a headline Tuesday saying the doc is set for early 2027, and Yardbarker and MMA Insight both reported a 2027 target. Athlon Sports and Yahoo Sports followed with explainers built around the release date.

The word to circle is “tell-all.” Bloody Elbow put it in quotation marks, so somebody is pitching it that way. The post doesn’t say who. That matters, because a tell-all about the man who runs the UFC lands very differently depending on whether it comes from Netflix, from the producers or from White’s own camp.
White has been the face of the promotion through its rise, so the appeal is obvious. If the project covers behind-the-scenes moments from those years along with his personal life, there’s plenty of material. Getting him to talk was never going to be the hard part.
The first review is in
The doc hasn’t come out yet, and it already has a critic. Malignaggi went after the project, according to a boxingnews.com headline. He described it, more or less, as the story of a BS artist. The headline is all that’s available, so his full reasoning isn’t clear. Still, it’s a sign that boxing people are ready to fight about White’s legacy before anyone has seen a frame.
The gaps are a lot bigger than the facts so far. The sources don’t give a premiere date, an episode count, a director or a trailer. Anything you see beyond the network and a 2027 window right now is speculation.
Until Netflix puts a real date on the calendar, all anybody has is a vague early-next-year target and one boxer who already hates it.
