Petr Yan's UFC 333 Win Over Merab Just Paid Off in a Rolls-Royce and $610K

Sponsor 1win handed Yan the keys to a Rolls-Royce Cullinan in Yekaterinburg on November 3, with his whole family and his dog there to see it.

Petr Yan has a new car. Crypto entertainment platform 1win presented the UFC bantamweight champion with a Rolls-Royce Cullinan at a handover ceremony in Yekaterinburg, Russia, on November 3. The gift fulfilled a promise the company’s owner made on X shortly after Yan defended his title against Merab Dvalishvili at UFC 333 in Abu Dhabi. Essentially Sports reported that Yan’s entire family turned out for the presentation, and so did his dog, which turned a sponsor event into something closer to a family afternoon.

“Thank you so much for such an amazing, awesome gift. Really appreciate it. It’s absolutely insane!” Yan said after he got the keys. He later posted photos of himself with the SUV on social media.

The car may not be the only bonus. A widely shared post on r/MMA said Yan also received $610,000 from a Russian copper company after the defense. The post did not name the company, and the Essentially Sports report on the Rolls makes no mention of the cash, so that number stays unconfirmed until someone attaches a name to it. The Reddit poster’s own spin was that Russian sponsors are paying an athlete better than the UFC does.

The Cullinan is no small token either. Essentially Sports put its value as high as 80 million rubles, depending on specifications. The owner of 1win announced the gift on fight night in a post praising Yan’s discipline and years of work, closing with, “For this victory, Petr will receive a Rolls-Royce Cullinan from me. Well deserved.” Yan answered at the time: “Thank you so much. Definitely one of the best gifts.”

Yan has been a member of 1win’s VIP community since 2025. That group also includes Ilia Topuria, Gable Steveson, Ryan Garcia and UFC interviewer Nina Drama. The company says it was founded in 2016 and operates across Asia, Latin America and Africa.

The fight that earned all this was the third chapter of the Yan and Dvalishvili rivalry, and it went the full five rounds. All three judges scored it 48-47 for Yan, a unanimous decision. Essentially Sports credited his sharp striking, his takedown defense and his control of the key exchanges. None of the reports name a next opponent for Yan.

My take is that three identical 48-47 cards tell you how thin the margin was in Abu Dhabi. Every judge saw one round going to Merab, and one swing round would have turned the trilogy into a different story. Yan earned the belt and the bonuses. Still, the image that stays with me from this week has nothing to do with the sticker price. It’s a fighter from Yekaterinburg standing next to an SUV worth tens of millions of rubles, back home, with his family around him and his dog at his feet.
