Mo Deen Says Tommy Robinson Brawl Was Scripted After Chairs Fly at Unhinged 3

One attendee was hospitalized and two were arrested, according to RTE, and the show was shut down with four fights still on the card.

Overturned chairs and a toppled steel barricade on the floor beside an empty boxing ring

Mo Deen finally won a boxing match, and about five minutes later nobody cared about the boxing. The influencer, who stopped fellow content creator MrUKTikTok in Round 2 at Unhinged 3 for his first win in six tries, has now posted an emotional video insisting the brawl that followed with Tommy Robinson was all part of a script.

Deen went live on Instagram after the event, and the stream was screen recorded and passed around social media. He appeared to be tearing up as he spoke.

“I’m not trying to cause problems,” Deen said. “This is like WWE I followed the scripts, I’m getting death threats, people trying to kill me what the hell? This is a message to all of Tommy’s supporters, I just followed the script that they told me they agreed with.”

He kept going. “So what’s everyone trying to attack me for? This is what they told me. Tommy’s agreed with it, they’ve agreed with it. I followed it. I don’t know what’s going on, this whole thing is crazy.”

How it fell apart

Per Bloody Elbow, Deen jumped out of the ring after the stoppage, a move the outlet compared to Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 229, and went after Robinson, the former EDL leader and political activist. Promoter HSTikkyTokky wanted to start selling a Deen vs. Robinson fight on the spot and pushed to get both men back in the ring for a face-off. That went about as well as you’d expect. Punches were thrown, chairs started flying across the room, and MMA Fighting’s video showed steel barricades getting tossed too.

Irish national broadcaster RTE reported that one attendee was hospitalized and two people were arrested. The show was canceled with four fights left, which means the main event never happened. Rappers Russ Millions and Kirky were scheduled to headline in a battle of music stars, and they went home without throwing a punch.

No date, venue or official announcement for Deen vs. Robinson has been made in any of the reporting. Robinson hasn’t been quoted on Deen’s script claim, and neither has HSTikkyTokky.

Sal’s take

I’ve seen a lot of bad promotional math in my life, including my own parlays, but putting two guys who just brawled back in the same ring to see what happens might be the worst risk-reward calculation I’ve come across. If Deen’s version is accurate and this really was scripted, then whoever wrote the script forgot to account for a crowd that apparently wasn’t in on it, and that’s how you end up with one person in the hospital and two arrests. If it wasn’t scripted, Deen is a guy with one win in six fights picking a fight with someone outside the ropes. Either way, the people who paid to see Russ Millions and Kirky are the ones who got robbed, and I’d want my money back before anybody books the sequel.
