Tommy Robinson Brawl Shuts Down HSTikkyTokky's Irish Card Before the Main Event

Mo Deen leapt out of the ring after his stoppage win, and a forced face-off with Robinson turned into a chair-throwing melee that ended Unhinged Promotions 3 early.

An overturned chair and shoved-aside announcers' desk beside an empty boxing ring under harsh lights

Unhinged Promotions 3 never made it to its main event. HSTikkyTokky’s influencer boxing card at The Hub in Kilkenny, Ireland, was called off partway through Saturday night after Mo Deen and Tommy Robinson started a brawl that spilled into the crowd, Bloody Elbow reported. Rappers Russ Millions and Kirky, who were booked to headline, never threw a punch.

The trouble started with what should have been Mo Deen’s best night. Bloody Elbow, which had ringside coverage from Donagh Corby, reported that Deen dropped fellow influencer MrTikTokUK three times before getting the stoppage. That came only a month after the outlet described him as showing some of the worst boxing skills and most limited heart in history, so the win alone would have been a story. Then he jumped out of the ring, went over the announcers’ desk where HSTikkyTokky and co-owner Ed Matthews were sitting, and tried to get at Robinson, the former EDL leader, who was watching from ringside.

You’d think property damage would be enough content for one evening. The promoters disagreed. According to Bloody Elbow, they wanted to start building a future Deen vs. Robinson fight, so HSTikkyTokky pushed for an in-ring face-off and brought Deen back through the ropes. The Kilkenny crowd was loudly against Robinson. He taunted Deen with a book, and the two got physical as soon as they were within reach. The fighting spread across the arena, chairs went flying, and officials made HSTikkyTokky (real name Harrison Sullivan) end the show. Bloody Elbow said hundreds of young fans had packed the venue, with a big crowd still outside trying to get in before the first bell.

The Warning Shot Nobody Listened To

This shutdown had a trailer. At Friday’s press conference, two fighters on the card spat at each other, and punches and tables followed while security tried to separate everyone. The person who finally calmed the room was the venue owner, who took the mic from HSTikkyTokky.

“This will not be tolerated in this venue,” he said. “I will close this down. There will be no fight tomorrow.”

HSTikkyTokky responded by begging his own roster to settle down. “We are about to get kicked out. Everyone just chill,” he shouted.

Before everything fell apart, the unlicensed card had produced some bouts that only a Kick stream could give you. Bloody Elbow’s live blog had ‘Mental’ Micky and Gym Unc swinging wildly until Gym Unc appeared to punch himself out and fall over without being hit, followed by a very long count. One female fighter got up from a knockdown and kept going after her weave came off, then won what looked like a majority decision. The ‘King of Marbs’ walked out in an England jersey to God Save the King, and the Irish crowd hated it. The outlet said the show felt more serious than the promotion’s first event in Monaghan, until it very clearly stopped feeling that way.

Bloody Elbow’s reporting gave no makeup date for Russ Millions vs. Kirky.

My take: the venue owner told this promotion, word for word and 24 hours in advance, what would happen if things got out of hand again. The next night, with a room full of teenagers, the promoters chose to put Deen and Robinson in the same ring because it would make a good clip. Deen had just won a fight, which was the actual news, and it got buried. Russ Millions and Kirky did a whole fight week and went home without fighting. If Unhinged Promotions wants a fourth show, the first person it needs to convince is the next venue owner, and the Kilkenny footage gives that owner plenty of reasons to say no.
