Streamer Tells Alex Pereira to Sign the Contract, and a UFC Referee Torches Him

Kick streamer maciejmp called Pereira a "b*tch boy" to his face on camera, and a UFC referee answered by calling him an "Absolute sh*t stain of a boy."

A Kick streamer who goes by maciejmp walked up to Alex Pereira in public, demanded a UFC fight on camera and called him a name most people wouldn’t say to the man from across a parking lot.

Championship Rounds posted the clip on X on Friday, Oct. 9. The streamer’s pitch, in full: “Alex, me and you let’s have a UFC fight bro. Don’t be a b*tch boy, sign the contract.”

He got a reaction. It didn’t come from Pereira. Sportskeeda reported that a UFC referee went after the streamer for disrespecting Pereira, calling him an “Absolute sh*t stain of a boy.” Officials usually keep their opinions to themselves and their hands between two fighters, so a ref going on the record about a content creator tells you how badly this one landed.

The “sign the contract” line should sound familiar to anyone who was online this week. Two days earlier, on Oct. 7, Championship Rounds posted footage of Nassourdine Imavov confronting middleweight champion Sean Strickland at the UFC Performance Institute in Las Vegas. Imavov kept asking Strickland, “You not sign the contract?” before security stepped in. Strickland called the whole thing “fake content” on Instagram. Imavov at least has a five-fight win streak and a real claim to a title shot. The guy in the Pereira clip has a stream.

Pereira, for his part, has been busy talking about things that actually involve him. MMA Fighting reported this week that he all but ruled out an eventual move to boxing. The same outlet ran a piece in which a veteran coach argued Pereira is too small for heavyweight, asking, “Can he take the power?”

He’s also been playing amateur matchmaker for UFC 334. On Friday, Pereira questioned why Ciryl Gane vs. Josh Hokit got the main event slot, posting, “Why the Women’s Fight is not the Main Event? Okay let me help promote this cause no one is paying attention to it.” That same day, MMA reporter Dovy posted a clip of Pereira enjoying London.

None of the sources show Pereira responding to the streamer. No statement from his camp, no post, nothing. That’s probably the right call, and it’s the call most fighters at his level make, because answering gives the clip a second life.

My take: I like a callout. I like guys who take a short-notice fight with a broken nose and a bad weight cut. Walking up to a man who knocks people out for a living, holding your phone out and calling him a slur for views is a different hobby entirely. The UFC isn’t booking a Kick streamer against Alex Pereira, and the streamer knows it, which is exactly why he felt safe saying it. The referee got it right, and the only contract anybody should be signing here is a restraining order.
