Oddsmakers Can't Split Volkanovski and Evloev as UFC 333 Hits Abu Dhabi

Both men sit at -110 for Saturday's featherweight title fight, while Petr Yan is a -175 favorite to beat Merab Dvalishvili in their trilogy.

The betting market has no favorite in Abu Dhabi. Alexander Volkanovski and Movsar Evloev are both listed at -110 for the featherweight title fight that headlines UFC 333 on Saturday, Oct. 24, at Etihad Arena. The card starts early for U.S. viewers. Early prelims begin at 10 a.m. ET (7 a.m. PT), the prelims follow at noon ET, and the five-fight main card goes at 2 p.m. ET, all streaming on Paramount+ in the United States. UFC.com is posting live results and official round-by-round scorecards throughout the event, and winners get filled in here as they come.

Volkanovski (28-4) is 38 years old and on his second reign at 145 pounds. He won the vacant belt against Diego Lopes in April 2025, then beat Lopes again in a February rematch. UFC.com bills Saturday as his shot at a seventh total title defense. Evloev (20-0), who fights out of Sunzha in Ingushetia, has never lost. He earned this fight by beating Lerone Murphy in March, and Murphy was unbeaten too until that night. Twenty fights, zero losses, and years of waiting for a title shot. It’s finally here.

Yan vs. Dvalishvili III

The co-main is a rubber match at 135. Merab Dvalishvili (21-5) dominated their first fight in 2023. Petr Yan (20-5) flipped it last December at UFC 323 with an upset that put the bantamweight belt back around his waist for a second time. Yan sits around -175 to defend, Dvalishvili around +145.

The rest of the main card

No. 6 flyweight Lone’er Kavanagh (10-2) is coming off a submission loss to Brandon Royval and draws No. 10 Ramazan Temirov (20-3), who knocked out Steve Erceg in the first round in July. That line is basically even, Temirov -115 and Kavanagh -105. At heavyweight, No. 2 Alexander Volkov (40-11) is a -120 favorite over No. 7 Rizvan Kuniev (14-3-1, 1 NC) in an all-Russian matchup that UFC.com frames as part of Volkov’s push toward a title shot. The opener pairs No. 11 Aaron Pico (14-5), the former Bellator standout, with Belgium’s Losene Keita (17-2), who scored a highlight-reel finish at UFC Paris last month. Keita is a slight favorite at -115.

Prelims

The headline prelim is Azamat Murzakanov (16-1) at -220 against two-time title challenger Dominick Reyes (16-5) at light heavyweight. Abdul Rakhman Yakhyaev is a steep -450 favorite over Nikita Krylov in the other 205-pound bout, with Abus Magomedov vs. Cam Rowston and Grant Dawson vs. Nurullo Aliev rounding out the 12 p.m. block. The early prelims, also on UFC Fight Pass, open with Iasmin Lucindo (-350) vs. Nicolle Caliari and include the card’s biggest favorite, Asaf Chopurov at -550 over Colby Thicknesse. Abubakar Vagaev vs. Jacob Malkoun, Bolaji Oki vs. Daniel Santos and Kody Steele vs. Noah Gugnon fill out the morning.

My take: a dead pick’em is the most honest line on this card. Volkanovski has beaten the same contender twice since getting the belt back, so we know he can still win title fights at 38. We have no idea what Evloev looks like when someone finally makes him uncomfortable, because nobody has managed it in 20 tries. If you’re only waking up for one fight before the main card, make it Pico vs. Keita at 2 p.m. ET. Two featherweights with finishing power, and the oddsmakers can’t separate them either.
