Lucero Acosta Lost Her PFL Debut by TKO and Says She Banked $500K Anyway

A wardrobe malfunction during Shannon Clark's third-round finish at PFL Chicago went viral, and Acosta, an OnlyFans creator sponsored by the platform, says the exposure paid off big.

Lucero Acosta lost her PFL debut on Saturday night. By her own account, she also made half a million dollars off it.

The 32-year-old Mexican fighter was stopped by Shannon Clark in the third round at PFL Chicago. During the finishing sequence, a wardrobe malfunction left one of her breasts exposed, and the clip spread almost immediately. Acosta is an OnlyFans creator who is also sponsored by the platform. Bloody Elbow reported that she afterward suggested she’d banked a $500,000 bonus “because we showed our nipples” at the event. The claim was making the rounds on X by Oct. 19, posted by the account @realkevink, and MMANews.com and Adelaide Now both ran with the story. One caveat: the $500K number comes from Acosta herself. None of the coverage includes figures from OnlyFans backing it up.

The viral moment lands on top of a backstory that rarely gets airtime. Acosta, who fights under the nickname La Loba, was 24 when she started training after surviving domestic violence. She described it in a 2025 interview cited by Bloody Elbow: “I was married in California and suffered domestic violence,” she said. “My ex-husband was a police officer, he had a lawyer… I didn’t. The judge denied me a restraining order.”

She said she stayed for the divorce proceedings and knew she had to learn to protect herself. “I was recommended a gym, I started training, and after a month, I was already fighting my first amateur bout.” That first amateur fight came in 2019. She turned pro that same year.

Bloody Elbow lists her at 6-3 as a pro. The best stretch of her career came in Combate Global, Campbell McLaren’s promotion, where she won four fights in a row. She closed that run by outpointing Abril Anguiano in April 2025, which earned her the call-up to PFL.

Her online numbers dwarf her fight record. Acosta has more than 500,000 Instagram followers, largely built on underwater bikini workout videos that kept going viral. She launched her OnlyFans in 2021 and charges $19.99 a month for access. Before Saturday, that side business hadn’t slowed down her fighting. The Combate Global streak happened while the account was already running.

The reporting doesn’t say anything yet about her next booking in PFL.

My take: what she earns outside the cage is her call, and turning an ugly night into a payday is about as practical as it gets. The part I’d actually keep an eye on is the result. A third-round TKO loss in a debut stings, and right now the most-watched clip of her PFL career is a costume failure rather than anything she did with her hands. Four straight wins in Combate Global means she can fight. The next walkout is her chance to give people something else to rewind.
