Jake Paul spent Monday on Air Force One. Most Valuable Promotions, the company Paul co-founded, posted on X that he and President Donald Trump were “spotted getting on Air Force 1 together,” and ClutchPoints reported that the pair were headed to Ohio.
The trip came with a few side stories. News24 described Paul as an unexpected guest at a Trump rally, and its headline quoted Trump admitting he “Didn’t know what the hell he’d say” once Paul had the floor. An inkl headline reported that Trump gave Paul a “Complete and Total Endorsement” while Paul flew with him. The sources don’t say what the endorsement covers. And because the internet can’t leave anything alone, The Mirror US and AOL both ran pieces on how photos of the two men side by side restarted the long argument over Trump’s actual height.
Back in the boxing business
The flight landed in the middle of a busy stretch for Paul’s promotional side. On Sunday, MVP’s account posted that Paul wanted a rematch between Lucas Bahdi and Floyd Schofield after the two “went to war,” and that he praised the heart both men showed. It’s the kind of move a promoter makes when he knows he has a fight people will pay to see twice, and it got buried under a presidential motorcade within 24 hours.

There was also the snake. A clip shared by @HappyPunch showed Paul working a heavy bag with a large snake wrapped around it, and Spinnin Backfist replied on X with a short, puzzled question about why anyone would do that. Paulo Costa quoted the same video and took the chance to needle the family. Costa wrote that he had sparred Logan Paul in boxing five years ago, said it wasn’t a real fight, and asked his followers whether they thought Jake was better than his brother.
Paul’s name keeps turning up in UFC conversations too, mostly as a door that stays closed. In this week’s MMA Fighting mailbag, the writer argued that middleweight champion Sean Strickland has a real point about fighter pay but very little leverage, since he’s reportedly locked into a six-fight deal he signed to get his title shot. The column was blunt about one escape route, saying the UFC has no interest at all in letting Strickland box or fight Jake Paul.

None of the sources point to Paul’s next fight, a date, or an opponent. For now, his upcoming calendar runs through campaign stops and MVP cards.
Quick take
Paul has always understood that the room matters as much as the ring, and a seat on Air Force One is about as big a room as there is. I’d just like the same attention on the boxing he’s actually promoting. Bahdi and Schofield gave him a fight good enough to make him ask for a sequel, and that matters more to the sport than anything Trump said about him in Ohio. Book the rematch, put a date on it, and let the two guys who bled for it have the headline next time.
