Erick Visconde Sweeps the Cards to Close DWCS Season 10, and One Question Hangs Over Him

Visconde beat Ilias Bulaid 30-27 on all three scorecards at featherweight, and MMA Junkie immediately asked whether that was enough for a contract.

Erick Visconde beat Ilias Bulaid by unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) in a featherweight bout that closed out Dana White’s Contender Series: Season 10, Week 10.

The online reaction was thin. Official accounts and outlets did nearly all the posting. The posts reviewed for this story contain no fighter reactions, no jokes and no callouts. What did surface, though, frames Visconde’s night pretty clearly.

The Brazilian Side Celebrated

UFC Brasil claimed the win for the home crowd. “Vitória por pontos para o brasileiro Erick Visconde na última luta do #DWCS em 2026! Gostaram?” the account wrote on X. The post celebrates a points win for the Brazilian in the final DWCS fight of 2026, then asks followers whether they liked it. That’s a fair thing to ask after a decision, and it drew only 16 engagements.

UFC Brasil had already billed the evening as the last Contender Series of 2026. Its preview told Brazilian viewers to tune in to Paramount+ Brasil from 20h to see who would earn a contract. So Visconde carried a little extra weight into the cage. He was the season’s final fight, and he was a Brazilian fighting in front of an audience being asked to watch for him.

Dana White Hyped It Live

Dana White’s only post about the fight came before the result. “Bulaid vs Visconde is LIVE NOW on @paramountplus! #DWCS” he wrote on X. It drew 50 engagements, more than three times the reaction to UFC Brasil’s result post. A live-now alert gives no hint about where Dana’s head was on contracts. People did show up to watch, though.

The Skeptical Read

The closest thing to criticism came from MMA Junkie. The outlet first posted the clean result with all three 30-27 cards. Then it followed up by noting that Visconde had taken the unanimous decision to close out the season. “Did he do enough for the contract?” it asked.

That question is the whole story here. Winning every round on every card is no small thing. Still, a decision on this show always invites a second look, especially in the slot that ends the season. Sweeping the judges and impressing the boss can be two separate achievements, and nothing in the sources says which column Visconde landed in.

The Rest of the Night Got the Clicks

The busiest UFC Brasil post of the evening wasn’t about this fight. A video of Douglas da Lapa’s win drew 76 engagements. Before the card, the account also shared reporter Evelyn Rodrigues catching up with Glover Teixeira and Alex Poatan backstage. The two talked about the fight of Aline Pereira, Poatan’s sister. With star power like that in the building, the closing featherweight decision was always going to fight for attention.

What’s Next

Nobody called Visconde out, and the sources don’t report whether he left with a UFC contract. For now, the record shows three identical scorecards, a 2026 Contender Series season that has run its course, and MMA Junkie’s question still waiting for an answer from the one person whose opinion counts.
