Dillon Danis lost on the mat at RAF 14, and then things got worse. “Dillon Danis appears to be kicked by a spectator following his 10-0 RAF 14 defeat,” Sherdog wrote on X on Saturday, posting footage from after the match. Sherdog’s accompanying report described it as another altercation following one of Danis’s wrestling matches. Neither the post nor the report identified the spectator.
The man who beat him was Arman Tsarukyan, and the 10-0 scoreline was a shutout. It wasn’t a polite one, either. Championship Rounds posted on X that Tsarukyan stepped on Danis after the win, with video credited to RAF’s own account.
That ending tracks with how the week went. On Thursday, Oct. 22, the RAF 14 press conference turned into a brawl. Red Corner MMA reported on X that it involved Danis, Tsarukyan, Khamzat Chimaev and multiple members of their teams. Ariel Helwani posted that one security guard was bleeding and called it total chaos. So by the time anyone kicked anybody on Saturday, the temperature had been rising for two full days.

Danis also had a rough road to the mat. Happy Punch posted on Friday that he went through hell cutting weight for the Tsarukyan match. I’ll say it every time: if you’re draining yourself to make a number and then wrestling a guy who chain wrestles for a living, the scorecard tends to tell you how that went.

For context, Danis is a Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt who came up through Marcelo Garcia’s academy, went 2-0 in Bellator with a first-round toe hold over Kyle Walker and a first-round armbar over Max Humphreys, and is the current Misfits MMA light heavyweight champion at 175 pounds. He’s signed to RAF’s cruiserweight division. He also has history with this kind of mess. After the melee at UFC 229, when Khabib Nurmagomedov went over the cage toward him, Danis was fined $7,500 and suspended seven months.
None of the sources say whether RAF plans to discipline anyone, from the press conference or from Saturday. Two flashpoints in one fight week, one of them with a guard bleeding and the other with a fan putting a foot on a competitor, gives RAF plenty to answer for before its next card.
