Darren Till has read Jake Paul’s wish list, and he’s volunteering to be the item that ends it early. The UFC veteran turned BKFC star quote-posted Paul on X on Friday with a message that needs zero translation for anyone who’s heard Till talk: “Stop talking shite I would flat line you inside of 5.” MMA Sucka was among the outlets picking up the warning.
Till was answering a post Paul put up late Wednesday night (U.S. time) titled “Before I rest…” followed by a roster of names that reads like a fantasy booker lost his mind on a group chat. Canelo Alvarez. Francis Ngannou. Conor McGregor, listed for both boxing and MMA. Sean Strickland. Darren Till. Ryan Garcia. KSI. Chris Eubank. Edgar Berlanga. Tom Aspinall, boxing only. Deontay Wilder. Nate Diaz, MMA only. Then a line reading “Midget who ruined our fight,” which Paul didn’t explain, and finally “World Title.” He capped it by tagging his business partner: “Make it happen @nakisabidarian.”
The timing matters. Paul’s list landed right as he announced he’s been officially cleared to return to the ring. Most Valuable Promotions CEO Nakisa Bidarian marked the moment with a jab at the people who still call his guy a content creator: “The ‘YouTuber’ never left boxing. He reinvigorated the sport.” So Paul is back, he’s got a promoter ready to dial numbers, and he’s put 13 names in public. Till just made sure his reply was the loudest one in the replies.

He isn’t the only fighter on that list sending signals, either. Hours before Paul’s post, Sean Strickland said he’s thinking about leaving the UFC’s middleweight division behind over money. “Unless things change with the UFC thing I’m kinda over it. Contemplating just going to 205, knocking out my contract and scrapping with Jake Paul,” Strickland said in a clip shared by Championship Rounds. Spinnin Backfist reported the same thing, noting Strickland framed it as a pay dispute and said he’d fight out the deal at light heavyweight before taking the Paul fight for fun. Nothing is signed with anybody. Strickland is contemplating, Paul is listing and Till is posting.

The “inside of 5” part is classic Till ambiguity. Five rounds? Five minutes? Five seconds of staring at each other at a press conference? He didn’t specify, and honestly I’d pay to watch all three.
My take: of the 13 names on that list, Till is the one I’d book first if I’m Bidarian. Canelo and the world title are the dream, but they’re the dream for a reason, and half of the others are tied up in contracts or rivalries that need six phone calls and a miracle. Till is a guy who talks like a pub brawler, fights in a promotion built on bare-knuckle chaos and clearly wants it badly enough to answer a Paul post within about 15 hours. Two big personalities who both love a microphone is the kind of crossover that sells itself, and the face-off would be must-watch TV. The ball is in Paul’s court now. He asked his promoter to make it happen, and one of his names just said yes.
