Dana White Has Already Seen Renderings for a 'Very Unique' UFC Event

Speaking after UFC 333, White said the promotion is building an event meant to pull in fans from around the world, and he plans to announce it soon.

“We’re working on an event right now that will be very unique. People from all over the world will want to come see it,” Dana White said at the UFC 333 post-fight press conference on Saturday, Oct. 24, 2026, in remarks that Championship Rounds clipped and posted on X.

He didn’t stop there. “I already started to see renderings of what we could possibly do. I look forward to announcing that soon,” White added.

That was the whole tease. White gave no city, no venue, no date and no names attached to a card. The one concrete detail is the word renderings. Somebody is drawing something for this event, and White has seen those drawings. He didn’t describe what they show, and nothing he said points to a specific location or format, so anyone filling in those blanks right now is guessing.

The pitch he did make was clear enough. White framed the event as a destination, the kind of night fans plan travel around. He didn’t call it a one-off or say how it would fit into the regular schedule. He said only that it is in the works and that an announcement is coming.

The same press conference had a testier moment, which Championship Rounds also posted on X. White asked the room, “When’s the last time we had a bad card?” A reporter answered, “I mean, to be honest the last Saudi card didn’t show up that much.” White closed it out with “Okay. Well that’s your opinion sir. Have a nice night.”

That exchange sits awkwardly next to the tease. White is selling a spectacle on the same night he’s defending the strength of his regular cards. It’s fair to wonder whether the unique event will come with a lineup to match the setting. That’s my opinion, and White would probably wish me a nice night for it. A rendering can fill seats for an announcement. The fights are what fill them on the night.

For now the next step belongs to White. He has said “soon” on the record, and the full UFC 333 post-fight press conference is posted on the UFC’s YouTube channel for anyone who wants to hear the tease in context.
