Amanda Serrano went to a couple of concerts and came home with a retirement plan.
The Puerto Rican star spent back-to-back nights at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico, the arena everybody on the island calls the Choliseo, and posted about it late Saturday. “Second night in a row at the Choliseo here in my Island enjoying Concerts,” she wrote on X, noting reggaeton one night and her favorite merenguero, Manny Manuel, the next. Then she dropped the line that matters: “To think I’ll be selling this place out AGAIN come January 2027 for my Final Fight.”
She signed off with “Don’t MISS IT!” and the hashtag #TheMoat. No opponent and no exact date came with it. The sources also include no official announcement from her promoter. As of now this is Serrano calling her shot on a timeline and a venue. That’s my favorite kind of fighter post, by the way. You don’t tease a farewell in the biggest room on the island unless you plan to show up.

The resume behind that tease is absurd. Serrano, who was born in Carolina and raised in Brooklyn, is the unified featherweight champion. She has held the WBO title since 2019, the IBO since 2021 and the WBA since 2023. In 2023 she became the first undisputed champion of the four-belt era from Puerto Rico, man or woman. She has won world titles in seven weight classes, which no other Puerto Rican fighter has done, and she holds the Guinness World Record for most world championships won across different weight classes by a female boxer. She has also competed in mixed martial arts, which is why she lands on a site like this one.
The rankings back it up. As of December 2025, The Ring and BoxRec had her as the best active female featherweight in the world. ESPN ranked her third pound for pound among active women, and The Ring had her second.
The business side runs through Jake Paul. Serrano signed a lifetime deal with his Most Valuable Promotions in March 2025, so whoever lands across from her in San Juan will come out of that deal. A homecoming finale at the Choliseo is the easiest sell in boxing, and nobody at MVP needs it explained to them.
She turned 38 on October 9. Her post puts the farewell at the Choliseo in January 2027, and the next thing to watch for is MVP putting a name across from hers.
